how to build a cheap tennis court?
If you have a driveway to your home the string a net or a couple of ropes across it.
If you have land space then you can make a grass court rather easily. If you do have some money and land room then buy tarmac and lay it for a court.
how much does it cost to build 1 tennis court(hard court)? any idea??!?
By looking at all the times this question has been asked,
I would guess between $15,000 and $30,000 USD.
Here is a quick estimate from the Illinois Asphalt
Assoc. (http://www.il-asphalt.org/tenniscourts.html)
"Properly installed, hard courts are generally considered
to be durable and to require relatively low maintenance.
Installation costs range from $18,000 – $40,000, depending
upon the specific construction."
where can I find out how to build my own tennis court?
First place to start is your local building inspectors to see if you are allowed to have one on your property. (also check with your Home Owners Assoc. if you have one)

How much would it cost to resurface a tennis court?
A good solid estimate for a standard hard court would be great. Thanks for answering!
The court would be a standard size found at parks or schools. Please give costs in U.S. dollars!
Again, this is resurfacing, not building.
About USD 3,000 to 4,000 depending on condition
Cheap Home Tennis Court?
Okay, I live on ten acres of land. I have a gigantic back yard, probably 250 x 45 feet, alot of space, and i want to build a tennis court. Is a lawn court cheap? hardcourt? asphalt? Help
Check out these types of surfaces:

http://www.versacourt.com/tennis.htm?_vsrefdom=paidsearch&gclid=CPyNq9y0gpoCFYZM5QodF0jRGA
They aren’t a standard surface, but they are supposed to be very durable and low maintenance. I have no idea what the cost would be, or how they play. But they are options.
Other than that, you’d have to contact a specialized company, like this one:

You can’t just lay down a concrete slab and call it a tennis court. It won’t make a good playing surface, and won’t last too well. Real courts are made of several layers of special mixes. It’s probably best to leave the job to professionals.
From asking around, it seems that you can expect to put down 15-30k for a single court setup. Start calling some court companies, and get some estimates. If you want it done right, there really is no cheap way.
How much do we have to spend on building a tennis court?
Which one is better? Grass or concrete? Thx..
the answer to your first question is about $21, 000 on average. you then might want to install lights(average$2000) and add fences around the court.
for an answer to your second question, its all about personal choice. a synthetic grass court(don’t go with proper grass as you always have to mow it and keep the grass green) is more high maintenance then a concrete court because you have to add sand every so often and then bag the courts after use.
concrete courts(hard courts) are less work but u need to buy a squidgee(it is a rubber thing that removes water because the concrete courts dont absorb water like synthetic grass courts.) my opinion, buy a hard court less maintenance and funner to play on.
soz about it being long, hope it helps
what is the best material to use for an indoor tennis court?
I am interested in having an indoor tennis facility built in Nigeria, but it seems there are no standard builders in this part of the world.
One of the best will be Plexipave : http://www.plexipave.com/
If you already have an old concrete surface a good option will be a flex court : http://www.swiss-flex.com/7i.php
You can also build a clay court but it will require more maintenance work in the future.
How much does it cost to build an indoor 4-court tennis facility?
How much would it cost for an indoor 4-court tennis facility including court construction, heating/AC/insulation?
One court is usually about $40k, so a 4-court facility with all the extras will probably cost you $200k, approximately.
How much does it cost to lay a tennis court?
We already have flat land, all we need is a concrete slab the size of a tennis court
Depending on what you are looking for, it might not be quite as easy as that. While a slab of concrete would work, it wouldn’t make the ideal playing surface. Pouring your own slab also wouldn’t last as long. The concrete in real courts has to be post-tensioned in order to reduce cracking.
But if you want a better surface, you’ll have to find a company that specializes in tennis/athletic courts. They are around, you just might have to look a bit. Reading through a few forums, the general price range I’m seeing for a single court is $15k-20k.
There are a couple other options, too. Check these sites out:

http://www.flexcourt.com/tennis-courts.php?gclid=COWmo6WHlJkCFQquGgodrCz5ag
Just another surface option. I have no idea what price range these would run, though.
What is the most economical way to build an indoor tennis court on an emptly lot? Any idea how much they cost?
If you are looking for economic then building an outdoor court of any type will be tough. However, If you want to build a nice court without emptying the bank account perhaps try building a court with a shelter over top of it as apposed to a surrounding wall court…I know that wont take care of the wind and it wont be a true indoor playing surface however it wont cost nearly as much. Other than that i suggest contacting a tennis court construction company that is local to you. You can find one in your local telephone book under tennis-court construciton(usually) good luck!
