What would be the cheapest all around covering, not just a roof.

BitterSuite, you forgot to take into consideration the gap between 2 courts… I’m sure that’s atleast 10 feet between 2 courts, so you gotta add 30 to the width and another 10-15 ft to the length since the cover needs to extend beyond the baselines also.

I want to have a tennis court in my backyard but a tennis court made out of normal materials costs between $25,000 and $100,000 and I don’t have the money.

I only want to spend no more than $5000 and just get a cement truck and make my own tennis court.

yea you can, it is going to feel different then a normal hard court and the speed will be different. It will also probably require more maintenance, becuase it will probably crack faster. but yea i say go for it.

I was interested to know how much of the cost of a court hour of play at a tennis facility is the electricity cost

They usually use high pressure washer and some cleaning agent to clean courts. I heard from my tennis club maintenance people that the cleaner charges between $100 to $150 per court for residential court
