I am thinking about it and I was just wondering if anyone has one and how much it cost.

Hi boo, my answer to this question or a similar one yesterday was over $100,000. Anthony C. I believe answered over $200,000 based on first hand knowledge.

Just a thought, but if you’re single and would like to play on Anthony’s court just email him. I hear he is temporarily available and open to meeting cute girls. Just a thought. He is going to be the next Andy Roddick you know. only better.

Ours was just under $30,000, but our ground didn’t need too much leveling out, so that saved a lot of money.

umm..excuse me..i wanted to know for when i got older…if you didn’t know the answer you should not have attempted to answer it…and my daddy passed…just because you can’t afford doesn’t mean everyone can’t…thank you!!!

I would say the bigger question is how much you have to pay to get the land to build the tennis court.

But as someone mentioned before it is around that 20000 to 30000 range unless your doing it yourself then you might be able to save a lot more.

In addition, if you live a area like CA or New York its pretty much impossible to build something like that in your backyard. Hopefully you live in a place where land is cheap and abundant.

Twenty years ago in the Boston MA area, I thoroughly checked into pricing for an asphalt tennis court, without a fence, installed by a professional tennis court construction company. At that time, the price was $40K USD.

Allowing for inflation, the price for the court alone should be roughly $80K. Adding another $20K for the fence gives you $100K total.

How much money do you think I would have to spend on this cable?

if it’s just the cable broken go to hardware store and purchase one to replace it.

Does someone have experience with installing a concrete tennis court? I would like to know my ballpark price, i figure it can not be that much it is just pouring concrete.
area is already graded, it would cost 60k if the court were made out of platinum, however i want a concrete court. last answer is ridiculous

$60,000 might be pretty high end for a hard court, but it isn’t out of the realm of posibility when you add in maintenance and options/upgrades. Call a court construction company for a quote, but you should be ready to budget for $25,000 to $45,000.

it depends on a lot of things, first the preperation, if your yard isnt completely flat, you will have to excavate and level it. 2nd, clay courts are much cheaper to put in, but when you add in mantainence, upkeep, water, etc its as much or more in the long run plus time. to put in a very basic hard court your looking at between 10 and 20 thousand dollars.

Cheapest and easiest to maintain do not go good together! If you get the cheapest, you are gonna get cracks in it. But the easiest to maintain would be a more expensive one, that won’t crack as easily. If you get the cheapest, you are gonna have to redo the court so many times that it will end up being the most expensive!

Well, there are four types of tennis courts. All costs are in USD.
A hard court would cost around 30K, but if you do most or all of the work yourself, you can have a perfectly functional court for around 500.
Clay could range anywhere from 50K to 60K, and they require constant maintenance. Any amount of wind can pick up bits of the clay from the surface.
I’m not sure about grass or carpet courts, because those are so much less common.
